Mugger Attacks Man Multiple Times in One Night: Police Blotter

Also: food delivery man jumped by group while making drop-off.

Inside CVS at 218 Myrtle Ave. on June 25 at 12:15 p.m.

Police arrested a 46-year-old man and 40-year-old man for taking property from a pharmacy and then attacking a 25-year-old man for trying to stop them on June 25. 

The 25-year-old victim told police at 12:15 p.m. he tried to stop Malcolm Alexander, 46, from allegedly taking property from a CVS located at 218 Myrtle Ave. Alexander allegedly punched the victim and called over Antoine Carter, 40, who also punched the victim. The victim suffered cuts to his hand and bruising to his face. Police arrested Alexander and Carter in connection to the incident.  

The Whitman Houses on North Portland Ave. on June 27 at 11:25 p.m.

A group of people mugged a food delivery man for his money and bike as he was on his way to make a delivery on June 27. 

The 18-year-old victim told police he was making a food delivery at 99 North Portland Houses at 11:25 p.m. when a man came from behind and punched him in the face. The victim then turned around and a group of men and women began hitting him. When the victim fell to the ground, the group took his money and his electric bicycle.   

DeKalb Avenue and South Oxford Street on June 29 at 3:10 a.m.

A perp attacked a man multiple times late at night, but got away empty-handed on June 29. 

The 60-year-old victim told police he was walking east on DeKalb Avenue and South Oxford Street at 3:10 a.m. when someone came from behind and tried to take his wallet from his back pants pocket. After not getting anything, the perp followed the man to the corner of Hall Street and Willoughby Avenue, where he grabbed the man and threw him to the ground. The perp dragged, punched and kicked the victim in the body and the face, telling him to "Give me the money, I want it." The victim suffered bruising to his left eye, hips and left shoulder, but the perp did not get away with any of the victim's property.  

In Front of 99 North Portland Ave. on June 29 at 11 p.m. 

An argument over a public bench became violent when a perp attacked a 48-year-old man, sending him to Kings County Hospital on June 29. 

The 48-year-old man told police he was sitting on a public bench in front of 99 North Portland Ave. at 11 p.m. on June 29 when someone demanded he move.
The victim refused to move, and the perp punched him in the face multiple times. Then the perp grabbed the man, pinned him to the ground and smashed the man's head on the concrete three times. The perp put both his hands around the victim's neck, causing him to lose consciousness for a few seconds. The man was taken to Kings County Hospital to be treated for his injuries. 

Tillary Street Women's Shelter at 200 Tillary St. on June 30 at 5:25 p.m. 

Police arrested Annmarie Crenshaw, 52, for striking a 75-year-old woman in the face after the two got into an argument on June 30.

The 75-year-old victim told police she got into an argument with Crenshaw at 5:25 p.m. on June 30 at the Tillary Street Women's Shelter. The argument escalated and Crenshaw struck the victim in the face, causing her to lose consciousness. Crenshaw was arrested in connection to the incident.
