Soule Restaurant, located on Fulton Avenue, near Washington Avenue, is a great treat for lunch or dinner. The Caribbean-soul menu offers satisfying, exotic and delicious dishes. Come for barbecued angus ribs, fried plantains, jerk snapper fish, shrimp roti and much more. It offers a variety of unusual sauces, including pineapple curry sauce and apricot duck sauce. Sunday brunch is served here as well, and there are bi-monthly spoken word nights as well as a monthly poetry reading.
