Anima Italian Bistro offers a bar and Italian cuisine. Its food is created from the soul, which is reflected in its name "Anima," meaning "soul" in Italian. The bar restaurant is family-owned and operated. You may find on the menu a variety of pizzas and Italian dishes such as Guancia di Manzo Brasata (slowly braised beef cheeks with saffron risotto), Filetto Di Tilapia Livornese (sauteed tilapia on tomato olives and capers sauce with sauteed spinach), Focaccia Aia (grilled chicken, mozzarella, peppers, arugula, lemon vinaigrette), Steak Focaccia (grilled steak, mushroms, spinach, lemon vinaigrette), Frittata Bianca (egg white Italian omelette, market veggies, spinach, goat cheese, reggiano) and Eggs Anima (two poached eggs over toasted country bread with prosciutto and carbonara sauce, served with fresh fruit and potatoes). Happy hour runs daily from 2pm to 8pm. There are also weekly specials, including unlimited pizza and drinks on Tuesdays for $19 and half-price wine bottles from 5pm to 11pm on Mondays.
