Shred it All! Shred Fest Takes to Cadman Plaza

Protect your identity and shred your personal papers for free.

The sixth annual Shred Fest, an annual City event to help New Yorkers prevent identity theft, is taking place this Sunday, May 19 in nearby Cadman Plaza.

Bring out old bank statements, old pay stubs, credit card applications and old papers with personal identifying information to be safely shredded for free using shredding trucks. Experts will also be on hand to provide free identity theft prevention tips.

Also, one of the first five people to arrive will get a free paper shredder donated by Staples, excluding City government employees.

Shred Fest will occur at Cadman Plaza West, opposite Clark Street. Click here for complete list of Shred Fest locations.
