It's a good week to be a theater lover in Brooklyn, with new performances cropping up in a variety of spaces across the borough. We've dedicated our "Week Ahead" post to a couple of events in Fort Greene and Bed-Stuy, since there's always plenty to see.
In Fort Greene: Catch up with Jule Taymor's latest, a production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Theater for A New Audience, 262 Ashland Place, in Fort Greene. The production is still technically in previews, and will run until January.
In Bed-Stuy: With Halloween approaching, kids may want some slightly lighter fare than Shakespeare. PS3 in Bed-Stuy plays host to The Shadowbox Theater, and their production of Lumpy Bumpy Pumpkin. Again, not Shakespeare, but this is for the kids. Get more info here!
Alternate side parking is in effect all week, and temperatures will waffle from the high-50's to the mid-60's. Enjoy, and let us know what else you're up to in the comments.
