This Wednesday, August 14, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., you are invited to a MEET AND GREET Fundraiser for 36th City Council District Candidate Robert E. Cornegy, Jr. at Rustik Tavern, located 471 DeKalb Avenue (between Franklin and Kent). Cornegy will speak to the general public with a focus on “Improving Education and Youth Services for our Young People.” Also, there will be a voter registration drive on site for young adults.
On Thursday, August 15, come support the Kings County Tennis League at its Fourth Annual Fundraiser at DUMBO Loft. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for two causes: 1) to take over 100 kids and parents to Arthur Ashe Kids Day; and 2) to renovate the tennis court at Marcy Public Housing.
