More Snow for Brooklyn Tuesday

National Weather Services forecasts a possible three inches in some areas.

The third snowstorm in just over a week is headed for Brooklyn, and could blanket the area with up to three more inches of snow in some areas.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance of snow after 3 a.m. as clouds increase and temperatures dip to 24 degrees. The chance of precipitation throughout the early A.M. is 50-percent with accumulation of less than one inch possible.

On Tuesday there is an 80-percent chance of snow, mainly before 3 p.m., with up to three inches possible. Winds will hit 10 mph. Light snow could also return at 9 p.m. Tuesday until 3 a.m. Wednesday. Temperatures will stay in the upper 30s and 40s with partly sunny skies for the rest of the week.
