Service Changes Set For F, G Trains

Here's a look at this week's transit schedule.

The F and G subway lines will undergo a series of service changes this week, the MTA announced on its website

Please be advised of the following changes to subway lines running through and near Park Slope, for the week of Aug. 5-9.

F Train

From Roosevelt Avenue to Fifth Avenue/53rd Street, Coney Island-bound F trains will run via the E line from 11:45 p.m. to 5 a.m. from from Monday through Friday. Trains resume regular service at 47th-50th Streets. 

There will be no Coney Island-bound F service at the 21st St-Queensbridge, Roosevelt Island, Lexington Avenue/63rd Street and 57th Street stations. 

To get to these stations, take the F train to 47th-50th Streets and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F train. For service from 21 St-Queensbridge and Roosevelt Island, take the F to Roosevelt Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F train. 

From Lexington Avenue/63rd Street, use the nearby 59th Street 4, 5, 6 Station for downtown local service to 51st Street and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F train at the E/M platform. From 57th Street, use the nearby 57th Street/Seventh Avenue N, Q, R Station for downtown service to 34th Street-Herald Square, where Coney Island-bound F service is available. 


G Train

From 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. from Tuesday, through Friday, expect service changes at the Greenpoint Avenue station. All trains will board at the Court Square-bound platform.
