Heat Wave Tip: A Parents' Refuge In Cobble Hill

Escape from the outdoors into an air-conditioned fun palace.

Need to get the kids out of the house, but can't face the playground in the heat?

If you're looking for a new experience and don't mind a bit of a trek, check out The Moxie Spot in Cobble Hill. There your kids can play at the extensive play space while you eat in air conditioned splendor.

The play space costs $2.50 per child, and one kid gets in free for each $15 you spend on food. Activities are good for kids 0-10.

Highlights include a dress up corner, a foosball yable, knob and valve area (see photo gallery) and a wealth of toys.

But the best feature? The ability to eat at a full- menu restaurant without worrying about the kids disturbing other diners.

If you just want to stop in for a quick coffee or bite, you can stay in the downstairs area for free as long as you purchase something. Downstairs is the knob/valve area and a paper-covered drawing table.
