Nets Face Off Against Knicks Thursday Night

New York's disappointing franchises square-off in Brooklyn.

This is certainly not the game many basketball fans expected when it was scheduled months ago.

The Knicks will cross the Brooklyn Bridge to play at the Barclays Center Thursday night at 7 p.m., and both teams are bottom-feeding in the NBA's Eastern Conference.

After successful 2012 seasons, both were trendy picks to go deep into the playoffs, with some experts saying the Nets had the talent to possibly topple the Miami Heat.

Grim reality has dashed those hopes, at least for the present.

"Both teams stink," Nets coach Jason Kidd famously said recently, and he wasn't lying.

The Knicks (3-13) are playing even worse than the Nets, (5-13) who were blown out on Tuesday night by the Denver Nuggets.

Given how bad these teams are playing, are you planning to watch? Did you have tickets? Did you give them up? Complain away in the comments.
