Brooklyn swimming phenom and the rest of the U.S. 4 x 100 Freestyle Relay team will compete in the medal round Saturday.

Even with the 2012 Summer Olympics only a day old, is already taking London—and the rest of the world—by storm.

Neal, along with the rest of the women on the U.S. 4 x 100 Meter Freestyle Relay team, came in first in their qualifying heat, besting China, Japan and Britain with a time of 3:36.53, according to ESPN.

Overall, the U.S. team came in 2nd behind leader Australia by a mere .19 of a second.

Networks will air the U.S. team competing in the medal round later today at 3:43 p.m. Eastern time.

Stick with Patch as we continue to cheer on Lia and the rest of Team USA.
