Dancers must be 18 or older and have at least eight years of technical dance training to audition. Tumbling skills are a plus, but not required. Dancers must wear fitted attire and non-marking sneakers or dance shoes, with “performance-ready” hair and makeup, according to the audition guidelines.

Dancers who pass the first round will get a callback audition on June 3, and finalists must be available the evenings of June 5, 6, 7, and 13.

Callbacks auditions on June 3 will be taught by guest choreographer Tanisha Scott, who has choreographed for the likes of Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Sean Paul. Scott will also serve as guest judge at the callback audition.

The dance team, sponsored by Crunch Fitness, will perform at all Brooklyn Nets games at Barclays Center and represent the Brooklyn Nets at events.

Prospective dancers should check out netsdancers.com for more information about the audition process.
