Brooklyn Nets Rolling into London

Nets have won five of last six games as they get ready for a matchup in London.

After a rough start to the season, the Brooklyn Nets have surged of late and will look to take that momentum into a matchup against the Atlanta Hawks in London.

The team is coming off wins against four teams that would be in the playoffs if the season ended today. The Nets are currently in the running for the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference, currently tied with the New York Knicks (though they lose a tiebreaker with their crosstown rivals).

Brooklyn is also 4.5 games behind the Toronto Raptors for first place in the Atlantic Division, currently regarded as the worst division in the NBA. The Raptors have seven fewer wins than any other division leader.

Led by head coach Jason Kidd, the Nets face the Hawks at the O2 Arena Jan. 16 at 3 p.m. ET.

The NBA has flooded its Instagram page with pictures and videos of the Nets in London. The team arrived in London Monday morning.
