Nov. 9: Celebrating Brooklyn Tech

First annual event honors alumni, faculty.

1. begins a new tradition in which the entire Brooklyn Tech community comes together to reminisce and reconnect and honor not just alumni, but retired faculty and others who have helped build and sustain Tech’s extraordinary history of excellence. Event will be held at Giando's On the Water, 400 Kent Ave. between S. 8th Street and Broadway in Williamsburg, tonight at 6 p.m. Tickets are available here.

2. BRIC Rotunda Gallery hosts the opening reception tonight at 7 p.m. for the , the sixth biennial of work from El Museo del Barrio. The year's exhibition features street art by artists Alexis Duque, Felipe Galindo and Gerard Ellis.
