"New Directions" Lecture Series to Begin at Brooklyn Technical

Lecture series focuses on STEM education.

Hosted by the Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation, the "New Directions" lecture series brings noted scholars and business leaders to the school to share their knowledge focused on new developments in STEM (science, math, engineering and technology) education.

The Brooklyn tech company MakerBot will kick off the 2013-14 series at Brooklyn Technical High School on Oct. 17 at 3:30 p.m.

Bill Buehl, the Director of Engineering at MakerBot, will present “How 3D Printing is Fueling the Next Industrial Revolution.”

All of the speakers in the program head organizations or activities that will be partnering with the Alumni Foundation and Tech to offer students  co-curricular opportunities.
