Fight Over School Closings Comes to Fort Greene

Fort Greene was in the eye of the storm on Tuesday, as the controversial Panel for Education Policy voted on 10 school closings, as well as several plans to approve the sharing of school buildings with charter schools. New schools Chancellor Cathie Black was also in attendance, and she was regularly heckled throughout the hearing.
