Students at Brooklyn Technical High School will have to wait a bit longer for class to start.
The city Department of Education announced that the school was one of 65 locations that would not be opening Monday. Most of the schools on the list had classes delayed due to damage from Hurricane Sandy or because power had not yet been restored.
In the case of Brooklyn Tech, classes won't resume until Wednesday because of the evacuation shelter located at the school.
Teachers and other staff should still report on Monday, according to DOE.
