teachers, parents and students probably already know that theirs is one of the best high schools in the city.
Now they can add the entire U.S. to that list of bragging rights.
Tech landed a coveted No. 63 spot on the U.S. News and World Report's Gold Medal ranking of the Top 100 high schools in 48 states and the District of Columbia released this week.
The Fort Greene institution is one of 23 New York State schools to receive a Gold Medal ranking by the publication. Of that number, 12 are located in the five boroughs.
Tech is the only high school in Brooklyn to make the U.S. News' top ranking.
We're guessing that the U.S. News' designation will only make Tech's already tough admissions process even more competitive. What do you think?
