As the Democratic State Committeewoman/District Leader representing the 57th Assembly District, I encourage all constituents to participate in government. It is my wish that our district becomes 100% active in community and electoral politics. The Parliament Democratic Club is here for the involvement of the residents who reside in our neighborhood to be politically informed from the grassroots level. As I am your District Leader, I am the On-the-Ground Party Official for the Kings County Democratic Party. Also,I serve on the Executive Board of the County as Treasurer and I hold, both of my titles, in high esteem. I ask that all residents press forward to become a member of the local Community Board, so that you may be aware, in advance, of the many proposals that come before the Board for approval. We want our district to be an informed district for the information is freely yours, if you want it. Massive changes are taking place in our area and many people do not know how these changes are happening. I always ask the question 'Are you a member of the Community Board'? and most times the answer is 'No". Therefore, I offer you to join your local democratic club, represented by a District Leader, so that, the community, clergy, unions and electeds can all work in unison.
