Report: Eric Adams Wants You To Sponsor Boro Hall Upgrade

State Sen. wants to start a "name your slate" program to repair plaza.

Incoming Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, who is the only candidate on the ballot for the office, wants to fix up the cracked and broken slate tiles currently troubling Borough Hall in downtown Brooklyn.

According to the New York Daily News, Adams wants Brooklyn residents to chip in to replace the chipping slate, by putting their names on it, a la Citi Field.

Adams floated an idea that would allow Brooklynites to put their names on slate replacements in front of Borough Hall, likely for a couple hundred dollars a pop.

That money, along with allocations from the Borough President's office, could help upgrade the Borough Hall stones and add a little Brooklyn pride, as well.
