Parks Dept. Now Hiring Summer Lifeguards
NYC's Parks Department is now hiring summer lifeguards for city pools and beaches.
Looking for a summer job and a way to keep fit? Via Councilmember Letitia James’ office comes news that the Department of Parks and Recreation is looking for lifeguards to man the city’s pools and beaches.
Lifeguards work 48 hours each week and first-year lifeguards will earn a minimum of $13.57 an hour, for a weekly salary of over $650.
NYC beaches are open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, and pools are open from late June through Labor Day.
