Flood Watch in Effect for Brooklyn

Rains expected to last into Monday

In case you hadn't noticed, Sunday night has seen rain—and bucket loads of it.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory, currently in effect until 3 a.m. Monday morning, with potential for up to an inch of rain per hour. The rains are forcasted to ease up by Monday afternoon.

The NWS advises people not to drive where water covers the roadway and to be aware that the heavy rains can cause flooding of streets, lowy lying areas, drainage points and underpasses.
