Final Mayoral Debate Wednesday Night

Candidates face off for final time at 7 p.m.

Republican Joe Lhota and Democrat Bill de Blasio square off Wednesday night for the final debate of the New York City Mayoral election.

After last week's contentious debate, expect Joe Lhota to come out swinging again, as this will be the last time voters have a chance to see the two men contrasted together before election day on Nov. 5.

The debate was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but was pushed back by 24 hours in deference to the anniversary of Superstorm Sandy.

As of Wednesday, most polls still give de Blasio a whopping 40-plus percentage point lead, so many experts are expecting him to win in a walk.
