New proposal could allow three new casinos in New York City.

Want more casino gaming in New York City? Well you might be getting it one way or another according to the Albany Times-Union.
The paper reported Tuesday that Gov. Andrew Cuomo has made a deal with legislators for seven new casinos in New York State, including three in the New York City region.
As part of the deal, the paper wrote, three New York City casinos would be built seven years after four are built upstate.
The deal would be contingent on the state passing a constitutional amendment to allow casino gamblign in the next statewide election in the fall.
In the event such an amendment is defeated, the report said, video lottery terminals — which are currently legal — could be installed in select areas.
