Woman Attacks Other Woman, Officer: Top News

Incident occurred on April 19 at Human Resources Administration on Clermont Avenue.

A roundup of recent crime in the area: 

At 1 p.m. on April 19, at Human Resources Administration on Clermont Avenue, a 20-year-old woman attacked a 34-year-old woman, kicking, biting, yelling and punching her. The 20-year-old also bit a police officer on the shoulder and the hand, injuring the officer's right thumb and pinky finger, and bit and kicked the officer in the leg. Kettia Augustine was arrested in connection to the incident. 
At 6:30 p.m. on April 13, a 44-year-old man parked his car in front of Lafayette Avenue home located near Grand Avenue to go visit a friend. He said left his macbook pro and Burberry leather laptop bag, worth $1,900, on the back seat of his car by mistake, and may have left the car unlocked. He retuned to his car on April 14 at 7 p.m. to find the property missing. There was no damage to car. The laptop was tracked to a home on Bennett Avenue in Yonkers, N. Y.

At 10:30 a.m. on April 16, a 49-year-old woman reported that while sitting inside a NYCHA office on Atlantic Avenue, someone went into her pocketbook and took her wallet, which contained her license, debit card, checkbook and health cards.

At 9 p.m. on April 16, a 32-year-old woman was walking with her iPhone 4 in her hand on Carlton Avenue and Fulton Street. A man grabbed her phone and fled on foot.

At 11:20 p.m. on April 16, a 51-year-old man parked his 2009 Mazda infront of a Washington Avenue home located near Greene Avenue. When he came back at 12:50 a.m. on April 17, all four tires and rims, worth $2,400, were missing. 

At 7:36 p.m. on April 17, a 27-year-old man was walking home and talking on his iPhone 5 on DeKalb Avenue and Washington Park Street when someone came up from behind and took the phone from his hand. The perp ran north on Washington Park Street toward Myrtle Avenue.
