UPDATE: Wild Shooting at Greene at Vanderbilt

Four teens are wounded, and in stable condition.

A murderous gunman shot four teenagers on Jan. 14 at around 10 pm near the intersection of Greene and Vanderbilt avenues, in what could be one of the more violent incidents in Fort Greene in recent memory.

A spokesman for the NYPD said that the victims, two of them 17, the others 18 and 19 years old, were at Kings County Hospital and in stable condition. All had gunshot wounds in the foot, ankle or calf.

He added that no arrests have been made.

Details are unavailable regarding what caused the shooting, but the quartet was reportedly at the basketball court at moments before it went down.

The incident could stand as a particularly violent epilogue to 2010, which saw an in the 88th Precinct, and will certainly be discussed during Tueday's Community Council meeting.
