Woman Attacked by 4 Perps on Valentine's Day: This Week's Police Blotter

Incident occurred on Prince Street and Myrtle Avenue.

Robbery 

At 9:50 p.m. on Feb 12, a 30-year-old woman was robbed at Dekalb and Washington avenues. She was walking north on Washington Avenue when a perp grabbed her by the hair, pulled her to the ground and took her iPhone and Mac. The perp then fled south on Washington Avenue toward Dekalb Avenue.

Assault

While at Brooklyn Hospital at 11:50 a.m. on Feb. 11, a 49-year-old woman was injured when a 44-year-old woman threw a hard plastic container at her. The container hit the 49-year-old's shoulder, causing a painful injury.

At 10 a.m. on Feb. 14, Valentine's Day, after getting into an argument in a Hudson Walk home, a woman stabbed her 47-year-old husband in the left forearm with a kitchen knife. The man was brought to Brooklyn Hospital to be treated for his wound. 

At 7 p.m. on Feb. 14, a 31-year-old woman was walking home when she was attacked by four unknown perps at Prince Street and Myrtle Avenue. The perps hit the woman in the head with a hard object, cutting her, but took no property from her. She was brought to Kings County Hospital to be treated for her injuries. 

Burglary

At 7 p.m. on Feb. 14, someone tried to break into a 29-year-old woman's North Oxford Walk apartment near Park Avenue. The apartment's door lock was tampered with, having been scratched and dented in to such an extent that the woman was unable to use her key to open it. The woman's neighbors were not home to answer questions.

Grand Larceny

At 1:50 p.m. on Feb. 11, a 19-year-old woman placed her wallet on a shelf above the sink in a ladies room in Long Island University. She left the wallet in the room and when she returned an hour later to get it, it was gone. 

From Jan. 30 at 3 p.m. to Feb. 11 at 7 p.m., a woman believes someone entered her room at the Fort Greene Shelter at 39 Auburn Place and took $2,150 in cash and $50.40 in postal stamps from her suitcase.

At 6 p.m. on Feb. 12, a 28-year-old woman parked her car at Classon Avenue and Emerson Place. When she returned to the car, the front driver's side door was unlocked, the trunk was open and the glove compartment was open. She told police she was positive she locked the car when she left it. Taken were her leather wallet, bank debit card, credit card, social security card and a Sephora gift card. 

At 6:05 p.m. on Feb. 14, a 50-year-old woman left her purse on her desk in her office on Fulton Street near Flatbush Avenue. She left the area and when she came back, the purse, which held her wallet, money card, debit card and pay stubs, was gone.

At approximately 5 p.m., 52-year-old woman's discovered her pocketbook was taken from her dorm locker at the Tillary Street Women's Shelter. Her locker's lock had been clipped and seven items were removed, totalling $1,700.
