Tillary Street Shelter Employee Strangled by Client: Police Blotter

Also: woman stabbed in neck by "friend" after arguing over money.

This blotter was compiled using information provided by the New York Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. A round-up of recent crime in the area: 

At 5:35 p.m. on May 2, a 25-year-old man who works at the Tillary Street Women's Shelter got into an argument with a 50-year-old client. The woman grabbed the man by the throat with both hands, trying to strangle him. Police later arrested the woman. 

At 10:40 p.m. on May 4 at Ingersoll Houses, a 49-year-old woman got into an argument with a friend over money. The friend stabbed the woman in the left side of the neck with a knife, making a small puncture. 

At 9 p.m. on April 28, a 30-year-old man came home to his Gates Avenue apartment, and find his girlfriend, who he has an order of protection against. She took his iPhone and ran out of the apartment.
