Later that day, at 8:35 p.m., a 47-year-old man was in his Grand Avenue home located near Gates Avenue, when he was alerted that his home security system was being activated.

The man told police he went downstairs and saw his front window, which had been unlocked, was open. He cheked his security camera, which showed a man walking up to and stepping into the window ledge to open the window. The man did not get into the house.
