What's this I hear that the 84th and 88th Police Precinct Buildings are being moved onto City-owned land inside the Navy Yard footprint and those buildings are to be torned down to make way for hi-rise, hi-end real estate. Does anyone know anything about this? I want the Patch Team to get on the case and ascertain and report on just what are the facts.

My condolences to the family I was in the emergency room with my grandmother when they brought her in such a tragedy. My 20 year old brother was shoot and killed in Fort Greene 20 years ago. Violence is never the answer.

When does it all end...when we as s community say we have had enough. This young lady should be alive and laughing today but a bullet ended her hopes and dreams. Its time we as a community tell the shooters "we are shutting you down"!!!

So sad! It's devastating to know, how life is not cherished, and taken daily by our youth!
