Suspect In Farragut Houses Slaying Still At Large

Aspiring hip hop artist stabbed during a drunken altercation on Friday.

Police are still searching for the suspect in the at Farragut Houses, according to the office of Councilwoman Letitia James, D-Brooklyn.

Keylester Williams is wanted by police in connection with an apparent drunken wrestling match at 192 Sands St. that ended with McDuffy stabbed twice with a knife at approximately 9:40 p.m.

According to police, McDuffy was stabbed in the chest and at the top of his head. He was taken to Brooklyn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

“The senseless murder of this young man is horrific,” James said in a statement released Monday. “I urge residents of Farragut Houses, Fort Greene and Vinegar Hill to work with NYPD to locate the suspect and bring him swiftly to justice.”

McDuffy, 22, lived at 177 Sands St. at Farragut Houses. According to James' office, he was a music production program student who wanted to pursue a hip-hop career.
