Sexual Assault Suspect Linked to Third Attack Near Bam

The 30- to 35-year-old white male is now linked to four attacks total — three of which occurred in Fort Greene.

The creep suspected of a string of sexual assaults has been linked to a third attack near BAM.

The latest incident took place on December 8 — prior to all previously reported assaults. In that case, the victim was at the corner of Fulton Street and Rockwell Place at around 10:30 p.m. when the man knocked her down and pounced on top of her. He fled after her cries for help attracted a bystander.

The Local first reported the latest assault linked to the suspect, and a police source confirmed the information to Fort Greene Patch.

“She [the victim] came forward recently,” the source said. “The incidents were all in the news and she came and reported it.”

Police recently said that they are canvassing local bars after several victims reported smelling alcohol on the attacker’s breath.

The man is believed to be between 30 and 35 years old, white, with sandy hair and approximately 6 feet tall.

In addition to this latest crime, he is linked to an attack in Bensonhurst on Jan. 9. In that incident a 28-year-old victim told police that she was at New Utrecht Avenue and 63rd Street at around 2 a.m. when the creep pushed her against a fence, slapped her in the face and exposed himself. The suspect also attempted to remove the victim's underwear, according to cops. The victim reportedly fought off the man and fled the scene uninjured.

Then the brute returned to Fort Greene.

On Jan. 19, a 25-year-old victim told cops she was at around 1:30 a.m. when a man grabbed her from behind and tried to rip off her clothing. 

The woman screamed, and the man fled. She wasn't injured, cops said.

The third incident went down on Jan. 26. , the victim told cops she was at Fulton and Cumberland streets at around 1:15 a.m. when the man snuck up from behind, threw her up against a fence and said, “Don’t fight it, enjoy it.” He then forced his hand up her skirt and groped her. A witness in a nearby house cried for help, forcing the suspect to flee.
