Serial Robbers Strike in Ft. Greene

A trio of robbers are suspected in a wave of stick-ups throughout Brooklyn and Queens.

Three robbers are suspected of forcing a woman to withdraw cash from an ATM at gunpoint at Atlantic Ave and South Oxford Street on Jan. 24, and are thought to have done the same to six other female victims throughout Brooklyn and Queens.

The incident in Fort Greene is the most recent stick-up allegedly perpetrated by a pair of men and one female who always carry out their crimes in the same manner.

"The individuals approach female victims at gunpoint as they are entering their vehicles and demand their ATM card and PIN numbers," cops said. "The victims are then driven to ATM locations where the suspects withdraw money from the accounts."
