Update: Woman Stabbed Near Nevins St. Subway Station

Victim sent to Brooklyn Hospital at around 10 a.m.

Update, 12:58 p.m.: Fire officials said the victim in Friday morning's incident near Nevins Street subway station was a woman who was stabbed in the arm.

She is "not likely" to die, according to FDNY.

Reza, an employee at a newstand at Flatbush Avenue and Nevins Street, was working at the time of the incident.

"I just heard screams and that's it," he said.

First responders transported one person from the scene of a stabbing near Nevins Street subway station earlier Friday morning, according to the New York Fire Department.

The person was taken to Brooklyn Hospital at 10:01 a.m. and is listed in serious condidtion, according to FDNY.
