Police Search For Man Accused Of Molesting 5-Year-Old Girl

Incident occurred near Chase Bank on Dekalb Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a man wanted for sex abuse within the confines of the 84th Precinct. Details are as follows:

On Wednesday at approximately 5 p.m. in front of 9 Dekalb Ave. near Flatbush Avenue Extension, a 5-year-old girl was approached by the suspect who forcibly put his hand up the victim's skirt, grabbed her inappropriately and bit her ear, according to police. The suspect then fled the scene, police said.

The suspect being sought is Michael Lewis, 22, described by police as 5-foot, 10-inches tall, 165 pounds and with tattoos on his face and neck.a

Anyone with information in regards to this sexual abuse is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
