Police On the Hunt For Fort Greene Robbery Suspect

88th Precinct calls for public's help to solve Oct. 27 armed mugging.

The New York Police Department wants the public's help in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery on St. Felix Street in Fort Greene last month.

On Oct. 27 at 4:35 p.m., the suspect approached a victim walking in front of 103 St. Felix St. between Lafayette Avenue and Hanson Place and simulated having a firearm, according to police.

The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone from the victim, police said.

Police described the suspect as a black male, age 20 to 27, last seen wearing a brown hoodie sweatshirt, a grey baseball hat, dark jeans and a backpack.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
