Update: Police Issue 'Silver Alert' For Missing 88-Year-Old Man

Update, 5:41 p.m.: Nester Dieudonne suffers from Alzheimer's and has diabetes, according to Community Board 2. Again, anyone with info is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477).

With temperatures soaring towards the 90 degree mark Tuesday afternoon, the New York Police Department issued a call for the public's assistance in locating a missing elderly Fort Greene man.

Nester Dieudonne, 88, was last seen leaving his residence at 65 Willoughby Ave. at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Police described Dieudonne as a black male, 5-foot 7-inches tall, 180 pounds with grey hair and brown eyes, wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information in regards to this missing person is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 then entering Tip 577.
