One Injured in High-Rise Blaze on Willoughby Avenue

Victim received burns as result of fire earlier Sunday.

A fire that broke out on a 16th floor balcony resulted in at least one injury in Clinton Hill on Sunday evening, according to the New York Fire Department.

The injury came as a result of the blaze reported at 6:16 p.m. at , a co-op apartment complex on Willoughby Avenue near Pratt Institute, according to FDNY. 

The victim was transported to Weill Cornell New York Hospital Center's Burn Unit in unknown condition. Fire officials said the person transported from the scene was "not likely" to die.

About 60 firefighters from over 12 companies battled the blaze, which was brought under control at 7:38 p.m.
