Men Get Into Brawl At Myrtle Avenue Mexican Restaurant: Police Blotter

On June 5 at 9:18 p.m., a 37-year-old woman was on DeKalb Avenue and Ashland Place when a 13-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy hit her in the head with a salt shaker, causing swelling, bruising and pain to her right eyebrow. Both boys were arrested in connection to the incident.

On June 9 at 1:25 a.m., a 20-year-old man was at Castro's Mexican Restaurant at 511 Myrtle Ave. when he got into an argument with a group of men. The men punched him in the face, kicked him and hit him in the back of the head and in the face with a chair, brushing and cutting his face and back of his head. 

On May 18 at 1 p.m. a man parked his vehicle on Clermont Avenue near Myrtle Avenue. When he came back an hour later, there was damage to the front passenger door's lock and the man's tablet was taken from the vehicle.

On June 8 at 2:45 p.m. police arrived at 29 Fleet Walk after receiving calls that a suspicious man was in the area. Police found 37-year-old Christopher Williams trying to break into an apartment with a crow bar. Williams also had wired concrete cement blocks to damage the door. Police arrested him on the scene.
