Man Stabbed, Killed in Lobby of Whitman Houses Tuesday Night

There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation is ongoing

Police are seeking information on a man responsible for the stabbing death of a 39-year-old Fort Greene man, Tuesday night in Whitman Houses.

According to reports, on August 13, at around 10:41 p.m., police were called to the lobby of 117 Oxford Walk, in the Whitman Houses developments, to find a man, identified as John Reeves of Herkimer Street, unconscious and unresponsive, with stab wounds to his chest. 

The victim was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
