UPDATE: Man Shot in the Head At Ingersoll Houses

Incident occurred just after 9 p.m. Sunday.

Update, Oct. 25, 3 p.m.: The Local New York Times blog reports that Sunday night's shooting at Ingersoll Houses involved a BB gun. The man, who was not identified by police, was walking near Fleet Place when the shot grazed him in the head.

A shooting at Ingersoll Houses left a man injured from a bullet wound on Sunday night.

According to police, a shot grazed the man in the head at Fleet Walk near Myrtle Avneue at 7:02 p.m.

The man was transported to an area hospital. His injuries were not considered to be life threatening.
