Man Fatally Shot in the Head at Atlantic Terminal Houses

No arrests have been made at this time; the investigation is ongoing.

A man was found dead early Saturday morning in front of the Atlantic Terminal Houses, according to police. He had received one fatal gunshot to the head, police said.

At approximately 2:50 a.m. Saturday officers of the 88th Precinct responded to a call at 487 Carlton Ave. between Atlantic Avenue and Fulton Street.

Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered the victim, described as a 23-year-old black male, shot in the head in front of Atlantic Terminal Houses, an NYCHA property.

Emergency medical services transported the victim to Brooklyn Hospital where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
