Man Attempts to Rob Greene Avenue Restaurant

The NYPD is looking for a man who entered Salva Vida restaurant, showed he had a gun and demanded money.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted for an attempted commercial robbery that occurred Monday night at a Greene Avenue restaurant. 

At 9:10 p.m. on April 29, a man entered Salva Vida restaurant, located at 291 Greene Ave. near Classon Avenue. He showed that he had a handgun and demanded money. However, he ran off without anything, police said. 

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (5477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
