While at a pub, a 37-year-old man was assaulted during the early hours of March 27. At 4 a.m. at Putnam's Pub & Cooker on Myrtle Avenue near Clinton Avenue, the victim was hit in the shoulder with a pipe and punched in the face, causing pain and swelling to both areas. Police arrested John Rooney, 32, in connection to the incident.

A 44-year-old woman was struck in the head with a bottle while at nightclub on Dekalb Avenue near Clermont Avenue. At 3 a.m. on March 31, the victim was standing inside Two Steps Down when someone intentionally threw a bottle at her, hitting her in the head and cutting her face. She brought herself to Brooklyn Hospital to be treated.
At 5:50 p.m. on March 24, a 25-year-old man was reading an e-book and listening to his iPhone while on a southbound 4 train sitting at the Nevins Street station, when a man snatched the phone from his hand. The victim ran after the man on Flatbush Avenue Extension and lost sight of him on Dekalb Avenue.
