Four Firefighters Hospitalized After Battling Blaze

An early morning fire on Myrtle Ave.

 

Four firefighters were injured battling a blaze that was called in shortly before 8:00 a.m. Thursday on Myrtle Ave. near the intersection of Clermont Ave.

The firefighters were transfered to a nearby hospital and their injuries are believed to be minor.

The fire was inside a private residence on the top floor of the building, and was brought under control about 10 minutes after 8:00 a.m.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
