FDNY Vehicle Crash Sends One to Hospital

Incident on Saturday the latest in a string of crashes involving fire officials.

A two-car crash involving an FDNY vehicle near the intersection of Clinton and Lafayette avenues sent one person the hospital on Saturday afternoon, according to an eyewitness.

Fire officials said the crash occurred at 3:48 p.m. One person was transported to Kings County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, FDNY said.

The crash was the second involving an FDNY vehicle in a month in Fort Greene-Clinton Hill. On July 5, near the intersection of Hanson Place and S. Portland Avenue.
