Cops Hunt Suspects in Fulton Street Murder

More details have emerged in the shooting of 17-year-old Kamau Chandler early Saturday morning near Bedford Avenue.

Police are looking for two men who shot a 17-year-old boy three times at close range on Fulton Street early Saturday morning.

Kamau Chandler, of Coney Island, was walking with some friends on Fulton Street between Bedford and Nostrand avenues just before 4 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, when they two men came up behind them, police said. 

The two groups got into an argument and then one of the men took out a gun and shoot Chandler twice in the head and once in the chest.  

Chandler was taken to Interfaith hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. 

Police are looking for two men. The first, who appears to have done the shooting, is a thin black man in his 20s with short hair. He was wearing an orange shirt with a dark stripe on it, police said. 

The second man is a black man standing about 6-foot-2 and wearing a navy cut off hoodie, police said.

The suspects are seen running from the shooting in the video above.
