Computer Swiped from Myrtle Avenue Home's Lobby: Police Blotter

A crook nabbed the laptop in the matter of 25 minutes.

A roundup of crime in the area: 

At 4:30 p.m. on June 24, a 36-year-old man parked his car at South Elliott Place and DeKalb Avenue and when he returned at 11:03 p.m. on June 25, he was unable to open the trunk with his key. He also discovered items were missing from the car, including a navy Marc Jacobs bag, a black Addidas duffle bag and clothing, all worth $1,472.  

Between 9 p.m. and 9:25 p.m. on June 22, a 61-year-old man had a $1,500 Toshiba Laptop computer delivered and left in the lobby of his Myrtle Avenue home located near Navy Street. Video surveillance showed an unknown person taking the box and fleeing. There was no tracking software on the computer.

At 4:20 p.m. on June 26, an Arrow Electric Bike worth $1,380 was locked in front of Eagle Chinese Food located at 914 Fulton St.  914 Fulton Street - Eagle City Chinese food. At 5:40 p.m., the bike's owner discovered the bike's chain was cut and the bike was nowhere to be seen.
