Bike, Backpack, Wallet and Debit Card Lifted by Crooks in Fort Greene, Clinton Hill

At 8 p.m. on March 24, a 36-year-old woman chained her bicycle to the fence in front of her Washington Avenue home near Classon Avenue, and when she came out of her house at 8 a.m. on March 25, the bike was gone.

At 11:30 p.m. on March 27, a 20-year-old man left his backpack unattended in the third floor of a studio of a Pratt Institute building at 200 Willoughby Ave. When he returned at 11 a.m. on March 28, the backpack, which stored $2,160 of property, was gone. 

At 6:50 p.m. on March 29, a 14-year-old girl used her school metrocard to board a B-38 bus  and then put the card back in her wallet and placed her wallet in her bag. She said she felt someone bump into her on the bus and when she exited at Lafayette and Vanderbilt avenues, she realized her wallet was missing.

At 10:40 a.m. on March 18, a 16-year-old boy was in gym class at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School on Clermont Avenue when someone broke into his locker and took his debit card and cash. He told police someone used his PIN number, deposited fraudulent checks and withdrew cash.
