Armed Robber On the Loose in Clinton Hill

Cops say this man is suspected of at least three robberies in the same vicinity.

Cops are on the hunt for a brute suspected of at least three armed robberies in Clinton Hill.

“The suspect approaches the victims, simulates a firearm, demands their personal property, receives cash and property, and flees on foot,” police said.

The first incident occurred on March 2 at Greene Avenue and St. James Place at around 2:45 a.m.

The second went down on March 13 on Grand Avenue between Greene and Lexington avenues at around 7:35 a.m.

And the third robbery happened on March 19 at Irving Place and Gates Avenue at around 3 a.m.

Police described the suspect as a 6-foot black man in his 30s who weighs roughly 180 pounds. He was seen wearing a brown jacket, gray sweatshirt, and blue jeans.

Over the last 28 days, there have been 25 robberies within the confines of the 88th Precinct. During the same period last year, there were only 10, according to the latest crime statistics.
